WONG HENG YU

President

Heng Yu (ACJS’81, ACS’85, ACJC’87) is a third generation ACSian on both sides of his family. He was active in the Executive Committee of the ACJC Students' Council and was part of the swimming team in ACJS, ACSS and ACJC. He graduated from Oxford University with degrees in Physiological Sciences and Medicine. He is currently a Gastroenterologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and worships at Barker Road Methodist Church.

GLENN FOO

1st Vice-President

Glenn (ACPS '88, ACS '92, ACJC '94) graduated from King’s College London with an LL.B (Hons) in 2000 and is presently a partner in Allen & Gledhill LLP in the Financial Services Department. He played rugby in ACS and ACJC and now helps out by coaching at ACSP and at Oldham Juniors. Glenn worships with his wife and children at Barker Road Methodist Church, and is immensely grateful that his son is a third generation ACSian.

TEOH TIONG ANN

2nd Vice-President

Dr Teoh Tiong Ann (ACJS 1968-1973, ACS 1974 - 1977, ACKC 1978 - 1979) is a general surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He specialises in the treatment of colon and rectal cancers. He also treats anal conditions such as piles, fistulae (abnormal connections) and fissures (tears). Dr Teoh is also able to perform keyhole surgeries such as gall bladder removal, appendix removal, large intestine surgery, and endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy. During his time in school he participated in CCAs of Swimming, Waterpolo, and Scouts.

ALVIN TAN

Treasurer

Alvin (ACPS Class of 84, ACS Class of 88) is from a family of former ACS boys. He has worked all over the world (America, Europe and Asia) as a consultant when he was with REL and Ernst & Young and a former APAC COO for a Dutch Multinational Company. Now he is the Director and the Finance Department Head of SDTR Marine Pte Ltd. Alvin actively volunteers his time with the ACS (P) Rugby Parents Group. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking and a Master of Science in Marketing from San Francisco State University.

MARCUS LIM

Asst Treasurer

Marcus (ACJS Class of 90, ACS Class of 94 and ACJC Class of 96) was formerly a Certified Public Accountant in the US. He is concurrently the MD of Toyotsu Binter Automotive Parts (Toyota Tsusho Group Co.) and VP of SGCARMART.com. Marcus has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California.

CHUA YU-JIN (TIM)

Honorary Secretary

Yu-Jin (ACJS ’81, ACSS ’85) is a semi-retired businessman and he is a co-founder of a project funding firm specialising in real estate development and hospitality-related projects across Southeast Asia. He is a Computer Engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University and also holds an MSc with first-class honours from University College Dublin. He enjoys cycling for leisure and exploring new food spots for fun.

RAVINDRAN ALFREDS

Ravi Alfreds (ACPS’93, ACS Independent'97, ACJC’99) hails from a family of ACS boys. During his secondary school days, he was part of the Boys’ Brigade 12th Singapore Company, and was a member of the Media Resource Team. He was also a member of the debate club in ACJC. He is currently a government relations strategist for an American multi-national. Ravi worships at Wesley Methodist Church with his wife, two daughters and son, whom he hopes will join the ACS family in 2026.

LIVINGSTONE CHEW

Livingstone is a second generation ACSian who attended ACJS, ACSI and ACJC from 1984 to 1995. He represented ACS in swimming from the primary school to JC, and was also a member of the Boys’ Brigade in ACJS and ACSI. He served ACJC in his capacity as a member of the 19th Students’ Council. He graduated from Queens College with a degree in Accounting, Economics & Business and Liberal Arts, obtained a Certificate in Financial Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and completed his Master of Science in Finance at Baruch College. He is currently the Head of Business Development at Haven Capital.

TIMOTHY CHEW

Elected Committee Member

Timothy (ACS Pre-U Class of 62) is ACS through and through, from Primary and Secondary schools to Pre-University, and continuing to be of service to the Alma Mater. He has sat on various ACS boards, including the ACS Board of Governors, and is probably the ACS OBA Committee's longest serving member. An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, he owns an insurance agency.

ADAM TAN

Elected Committee Member

Adam (ACJS Class of 87, ACS Class of 91, ACJC Class of 93) is a Director of Agrimax Pte Ltd. He started his career in Merrill Lynch before leaving to manage Plastics Commerce Pte Ltd. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Singapura Finance Ltd and is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore). Adam has actively volunteered at the Badminton Chapter of Oldham Club since 2013.

RYAN THOMAS JACOB

Co-opted Committee Member

Ryan (ACS Junior Class of ‘93, ACS Independent Class of ‘97 and ACJC Class of ‘99) is the Head of Legal at Meta for Central and South Asia. He completed law school at the University of Exeter and acquired a Master’s in Business at the Stockholm School of Economics. Throughout his 12 years at ACS, Ryan was an active servant of the school, most notably as President of the 23rd Students Council at ACJC in 1998. A proud father of two young boys, he is keen to keep the ACS flag flying high for the generations of ACSians to come.

PAUL LEE

Paul was blessed to receive 12 years of formative education in ACPS, ACS Independent, and ACJC from 1985 to 1996. He currently works for his family business in property investment and management and enjoys family life with his wife and their 4 children. Paul serves in Oldham Club and is an avid supporter of school sports and performing arts.

CHRISTABEL CHAN

Elected Committee Member

Christabel is a third generation ACSian who attended ACJC from 2010-2011. During her school days, she captained the ACJC girls hockey team and was the vice-president of Thoburn House. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Christabel is now the Global Business Director of Lintec & Linnhoff Holdings Pte Ltd, and is also the Director of JustShip Pte Ltd. She served as the Vice-President of the Singapore Hockey Federation from 2020-2022, and has been actively volunteering with Oldham, serving as the Chapter Head of Hockey since 2018.

DANIEL LEE

Daniel (ACJS ‘97, ACS(I) ‘01) graduated from Singapore Management University with a Double Degree in Marketing and Psychology in 2010. He is presently a Marketing Lead for ASEAN and South Asia at Temenos Asia Pacific, focusing on regional marketing. He worships with his wife and children at City Harvest Church

MICHAEL LIN

Michael (ACPS Class of '96, ACS(BR) of ‘00 is a second generation ACSian and attended ACS like his 3 brothers. After ACS, he studied Psychology and Art in the USA but works in an area of keen personal interest - Technology. He consults privately in the fields of technology and automation.
