Founder’s Day Dinner is the most anticipated events organized by the ACSOBA annually. This year ACS celebrated its 138^th Founder’s Day at the grand ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, with over 950 merry-makers in attendance.

For the first time in a long while, much to the delight of everyone present, members of the Boy’s Brigade 12^th Singapore Company, who are celebrating their 70^th Anniversary, joined the celebrations with bagpipes escorting the School Colours into the ballroom, giving a sense of pageantry to the evening.

ACJC also chipped in and spiced up the celebratory mood with Fun-O-Rama activities, dance entertainment and providing student councillors as ushers spreading the fun-loving ACS spirit all round. Dinner was a sumptuous 8-course Chinese-style menu and there were options for vegetarian and Halal meals as well.

This year, a sponsor “Nocturne Noir” (ACSian-owned) stepped up to provide a coffee-flavoured cocktail experience. Another sponsor, “Guzman Y Gomez” (ACSian-owned), also stepped up to provide food for our helpers and student participants.

As in previous years, ACSians of all generations take this annual opportunity to get together to fellowship and have fun together. We are grateful to everyone who helped, participated, and attended Founder’s Day Dinner 2024 and look forward to a strong turnout in 2025!
