Past Vs Present Games

After a 3-year COVID-19 hiatus, this year’s edition of the Past Vs Present Games saw close to 900 participants across 10 sports – Badminton, Basketball, Hockey, Netball, Soccer, Squash, Tennis, Touch Rugby, Waterpolo and Volleyball, held across different venues.

It was an opportunity for Old Boys and Girls to catch up, have fun and get to know the current students. The atmosphere was light and the weather held. With nothing more serious than injured pride, the organising committee felt it was a resounding success.

Netball was our newest sport and we would like to thank the Old Girls for making it happen. We hope it will grow from strength to strength and that our Present teams will have an opportunity to play against them next year.

Soccer had the most participants with multiple Past teams, including one composed of Old Boys from the Class of 1980.

Mr. Loo Ming Yaw, ACS (Barker Road) Principal, also joined the festivities, as he played for Hockey Past and we hope that more school leaders, teachers and coaches will join in the games next year.

The ACSOBA would like to express special thanks to ACS (Independent), ACS (International) and ACJC for hosting the events, the Principals and HODs for their support and Oldham Club and volunteers for helping to organise the Past teams.
